Ceek Talent is on the lookout on behalf of one of our top clients, a leading hospitality group in Malta, for an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee day-to-day operations at one of their established dining venues. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong operational expertise and a passion for exceptional guest experiences.
What is expected of you?
- Manage daily Front of House and Back of House operations
- Ensure consistently high service standards and maximum guest satisfaction
- Handle customer complaints efficiently and professionally
- Monitor product quality and liaise with suppliers to maintain standards
- Organise staff schedules and oversee shift planning
- Evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback to improve productivity
- Forecast and manage inventory for kitchen, bar, and cleaning supplies
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Uphold and enhance the restaurant’s image, suggesting operational improvements
- Control operational costs and identify opportunities to reduce waste
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual operational and financial reports
- Promote the venue locally through events, partnerships, and word-of-mouth initiatives
- Support marketing initiatives, including promotions and social media campaigns
- Train and develop team members in customer service excellence
What are you expected to bring?
- Proven experience in restaurant management or customer service leadership
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong leadership, motivational, and people-management skills
- Solid financial and cost-control understanding
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
